10 mantras co-created by the Montréal underground community. Not imposed rules — shared reflexes, born on the ground.
In April 2026, the Montréal underground community validated its ethical charter.
Not a regulation handed down from above — this is what the night gave itself as a code.
Each mantra is a short, memorable and positive phrase — a shared reflex to protect what makes the underground night unique.
Born on the ground. Validated by the community. Adoptable by any organizer who wants to embody these values in their space.

No bouncers — a community that watches, protects, intervenes.
When everyone protects the space, the night becomes what it's meant to be.

Discover the Charter →Nightlife is a space of freedom, expression and social connection. It creates moments where music brings people together, where dance sets us free, where everyone can fully exist.
The underground scene creates rare moments — moments where music brings people together, where dance sets us free, where everyone can exist without masks or judgment. These moments create a sense of belonging and deep connection.
Normalized violence, systemic exclusions, lack of recognition for stakeholders: when nothing is named, connection crumbles and the magic becomes vulnerable. These lived experiences remain largely absent from public decisions.
Without a clear human, social and ethical framework, the conditions needed for a healthy experience of connection become fragile. S.O.U.L. was born to support a way of living the night founded on respect, presence and shared awareness.
Collective framework
This space has a culture.
When you walk in, you become part of it.
Here, that's how we do it.
S.O.U.L. is meant to be a collective project. It evolves thanks to people who choose to contribute and commit to a more conscious, safer and humane nightlife culture.
Contribute to the governance of the project, strategic decisions and the sustainability of the initiative.
Contribute to organizing, communications, workshops and initiatives that bring the movement to life.
Be present at events, watch over the atmosphere and intervene as an active and caring witness.
