Night of March 8, 2025

START

I don’t know about you, but this night seemed extraordinary to me.

Here’s an excerpt inspired by my review of the night, but if it resonates with you, there’s more to discover…

First of all, we had a DJ at the peak of his mastery, delivering the exact experience he intended, a very friendly staff, a wonderful crowd, exquisite lights perfectly in sync with the music, bringing everyone’s consciousness together in a shared moment and place. Absolutely magical.

The success of an evening like this cannot be quantified; it must be felt. It is embodied in the dance, in the joy, in the sincere exchanges, in the surrender to movement, with strangers as with friends. And there is no doubt about that.

Stéréo is much more than just a venue. It’s a refuge, a school, a therapy, a temple of music and light. It’s an experience that transcends its walls and sound system, because what you carry with you are those emotions, those bursts of laughter, that inspiration that lingers long after the doors close.

The radiant faces at the end of the night left no doubt: everyone had drawn new energy, shared moments of grace, and left with a deep sense of gratitude. This communion between bodies and minds, in this suspended moment of a few hours, is why so many of us dance: to reconnect with ourselves, to heal, to find each other.

Thank you, Stéréo, for allowing these moments to exist. Gratitude to Mike and Tommy for doing what is necessary to ensure this endures over time.
Thank you Calderone, Luc, all the staff, and you, the dancers, so mature and aware. You were just wow!
That’s what I call a Stereo success!

The Happiness of Dance

Sometimes, when the conditions are perfect, I experience moments where my mind is completely open, where, during the night, my consciousness awakens in a divine clarity. That night, the light was breathtaking. In perfect harmony with the music, it blended into a grand finale, diving into the indigo blue, an essential element to achieve a peaceful and spiritual state of mind. This light not only influenced the stage but also the visual exchanges between all the dancers, lost in a play between shadows and glimmers.

Red, on the other hand, distorts faces, erases nuances, making everything uniformly red. For short periods, it’s an interesting effect, but over long cycles, it plunges the mind into darkness.

That night, I took the time to reflect, immersed in the blue, a color that allows one to see beyond movements, beyond strobe effects that erase time, and to dive back into flashes of light. It’s in those moments that magic happens, that experience where every movement makes sense, where every glimmer, every flash becomes a pulse, a wave of pure beauty.

I savored the sensation of plunging into the crowd, dancing while crossing bodies without ever touching a single one, slipping through, exploring that invisible path that forms within the collective.

The happiness of dance is about occupying three-dimensional space, giving body to the music, the light, in an extraordinary journey where every movement becomes a new choreography, a sequence of moments that exist neither before nor after.

For me, dance is not just about moving alone, but about blending into this crowd, tasting every movement as an exploration. That is what I love most: diving into the heart of the group, exchanging steps, feeding off the collective energy. This is only possible when power and energy come together, and that night, it was exactly that: a moment that was primal, instinctive, fleeting, but also satisfying.

The magic of letting yourself be carried by the musical wave, blending into the moment and, with a fluid movement, disappearing and reappearing, giving yourself entirely to dance without reserve – this is the true essence of pleasure. The complex rhythm and musical structures make all of this possible, in a dance without end, a cycle that is woven and redefined with every moment.

That night, I realized how deeply attached I am to this practice, to this instinctive gesture. I dance for myself, to thrive, and to offer to those sharing this space the same energy. The later the night went, the more unity was created between us, as if we were all dancing together, connected by a common energy.

We lived the egregore, that state where collective energy becomes tangible, where consciousness synchronizes. That night, harmony reigned. Many familiar faces, old friends, crossed my path. I had wonderful conversations, simple yet deep moments, and met a man from India, a giant with unmatched style, with whom I shared unforgettable times.

I received many compliments for my dancing, but the most beautiful one was from Elia: “Christophe, it’s so beautiful how you dance, and when you arrive, everyone picks up your vibe and starts dancing.” That’s what I love to hear, because it’s what I feel: I dance, simply, without expectation, and the dance offers itself to me in perfect harmony.

The Magic of Exchange

The happiness of extreme dance finds its source in exchange. There are all these little fleeting conversations, these smiles that emerge spontaneously, strengthening bonds and connections, even without seeking them. It is in these moments, between two movements, that new friendships are woven, encounters that unfold without any premeditation, but which reveal themselves with quiet strength.

The simple fact of owning the space, being able to move freely, “baptizing” the floor all through the night, without fear, gives immense satisfaction. A form of freedom. And even without realizing it, a story is being woven, friendships are formed, faces that were strangers at the beginning of the evening become companions of dance, friends. Magic happens without being sought, it reveals itself on its own.

As the night progresses, these moments of dance transform into a connecting thread that binds us all. They become a space of trust, an area where we offer one another positive energy, without ulterior motives. And at the end of the night, when we find ourselves surrounded by those with whom we danced, that communion becomes an evident truth, a testimony to the power of the bond created by dance.

The new friends, born throughout the night, may remain in our lives or we may meet them again, as fate dictates, without it being planned. Because magic, like friendship, doesn’t get planned. It emerges, it builds itself over movements, looks, and shared smiles.
